The Torpedo Factory Art Center is located in Alexandria,VA and has approximately 100 artists. The Art Center is opened daily from 10 a.m to 5 p.m. Meet the artists busy at work in their studios, buy beautifuly art works. Here you will find painters, printmakers, potters, jewelers, glass engraver, stain glass artists, sculptors, fiber works, PLUS galleries and The Art League School. Stop by the Center's Visitor Center.

SMITHSONIAN INSTITUTION
The Smithsonian Institution is the largest museum complex in the World. Air & Space Museum; National Museums of History, Science, and Art just to mention a few. I worked at the Smithsonian in the red Castle - the first building which house display, library and students. My office was in the South Tower. It was a great learning environment, I met people from all over the world. I tried to see every treasure but, this would probably would have taken a lifetime or ten.
